Hey everyone,
I defo couldnt give a proper title to this post cuz it's gonna be a dump site for everything! hahaha
Right, first thing was I bought a 1GB RAM for my lappy. I've never thought of this before but my friend zanna suggested this to me. I had completely forgotten that we can actually upgrade the memory. So, I DIY-ed the memory, screwed open the motherboard lid and once it revealed the inside I thought the 512MB memory that I was having was too lonely..hahaha no wonder it was working so slow.. I installed the new 1GB and BAM!! cant wait to restart. You have no idea how smooth like an ice-cream and fast like a fighting jet my laptop started to work after that. Usually i had to wait like 15 friggin minutes to start a program. Now...I dont even have to click a thing!! i just think of a program and it merely starts itself!!:D Now, that's exaggeration..hahaha Happy Happy Happy.. I'll be able to do my work happily after this.
Second thing, i went to town this afternoon for some groceries. I just realised that I had nothing left to eat. I had quite a handful of money but why was I so poor of food? :P I left my laptop downloading a movie and left. Initially my intention was going to Morrison and Superdrugs but it stretched to the end of the town...haha When i felt like i couldnt carry anymore stuff I headed home. And guess what?? When i checked on my laptop, this Malware scanning program started to pop out saying that my files were infected. For earth sake, I just had my 1GB installed!!! I couldnt open the internet or any programs, a sound of a screaming pig could be heard if i did that..
I gotta DIY again and browse for solutions from the internet. I was thinking, that was it, i wouuld have to reformat my laptop again.. But after much thoughts and reading on the web thru my handphone (cuz my laptop would open the internet explorer..)i managed to restore my laptop using the System Restore.. Get lost Malware and never come back! And i was proud that I tried and did it myself.. heheee
Third, the stack of library books that I hold at the moment is collapsing cuz some people have recalled them already. And this is what im having in mind.
1. Return the books as soon as you can,
2. Save the names of the books in a list or something
3. Check if the books have been borrowed,
4. If they have, recall them back!!
5. You're gonna get them back in a week or so!haha
Im gonna start of with my assignment soon..
Fourth!! I gotta brag about this.. For the first time ever in my life I had a close encounter with the Sultan of Brunei. You know, last May 1st there was a Junjung Ziarah event between the Sultan of Brunei with the Bruneians in UK. And it was held in Hilton Hotel London> I kept on saying that my top reason to come was to see the Sultan because I missed him. And i really meant that. And I also hoped for a chance to say "Thank you" to His Majesty. Money didnt matter really. But God is just so BEYOND EVERYTHING that HE heard my wishes... When I thought that I wouldnt have a chance to even shake His Majesty's hand or caught a glimpse of him, He returned and went to the direction where I was and there!! I got the best shot ever..
Thanks to my awesome camera too for doing a good job.. :))
Dear GOD, please bless our Sultan with all your prosperity for He is such a genuine Father of our Nation.. :')
It was sooo crazy when the Sultan was near. I shook his hand and say "Thank you your Majesty".. Perhaps, he couldnt hear me but what mattered was that I DID SAY THANK YOU AND I MEANT EVERY WORD I SAID..
I thought i wanted and needed to say thank you for countless things He has done. Thank you for the good welfare he provides to his people, thank you for moving my unspoken dream of studying overseas, thank you for the FREE medication of my mother although she is not a real Bruneian and for my father as well, thank you for giving sooo much to his people although there are those who just cant be thankful. Thank you for always reminding his people to worship the one and only GOD and that HE is the most important power on our lives and Just THANK YOU for an Amazingly peaceful country, well-reigned and safe that I will never see myself living anywhere else than Brunei. And i thought saying only Thank you to Him was not enough..
After taking photos, I didnt even have to move my feet cuz i was moved by the motion of the jostling and pushing people..HAHA
And all students were 250 pounds richer when we got back.. :p
Gosh, now im tired..
Take care eveyone!!:)
