Almost there!:D

I knowww..it has been such a longgg time since I updated. And I keep on saying this in the last few posts..hehe

Well, it can only mean one thing. I've spent all my time on doing something other than blogging.. haha Life has been eventful all this past while. Hmmm..actually, I am supposed to continue writing up my Portfolio (that's what my dissertation is called)now since I've only got 2 nights including tonight to get it done for check up. But what is portfolio to tell me what to do..hahaha Anyway, so far writing up my portfolio is positive. I've been spending a good amount of time in July to get everything done. The truth is I still have a full month before the due date which is September 5th. But my supervisor is gonna check the draft till this Sunday, July 31st. And that's why Im rushing this through.. I need my supervisor to check my work, just in case there's something to improve or whatever... And also, i dont understand my mind set tell me to just forget about doing draft but just do the real write up right away.. Or is the heart tell me to do so, I dont know. What ever voice Im following, it's leading me to the right direction.. :) Oh, I think if I finished my MA i wont be able to review all my lecturers comments in the email anymore.. So, i better post them somewhere here.. (Or maybe Im gonna make a separate post for all the comments I've received throughout my studies..hehehe) Here's my first comment on my first few chapters of my portfolio..


Dear Angela,
I have read these first few chapters and you have a good understanding of what is needed.
They are fine and very clear and coherent.

Carry on with the rest of the portfolio.

That was positive..although i took like 5 days to write that 4000 words..haha and the next chapter that I sent also received what i thought as 'exaggerated' positive comments like, 'that was exellent! you critically comments on those evidence and they are precisely what you need to carry on with your research..bla bla bla...' and I haven't learned on how to react following those comments..hahaha Anyway, the first thing i did was giving back all the praises and glory to GOD who made me able.. Always do that!:)

Now, Im actually left with about 3000 words to mark the finish line of my portfolio and the biggest assignment of all in my TESOL studies years.. 3000 words in 2 nights is quite ambitious, furthermore this is the research part which requires some analysis and deep insights about what has happened.. Anyway, I'll surely do what I can though.

Oh, beside that..Im sooooo looking forward for my plans starting this Monday. I think I'd deserve some treats for myself. I think im going shopping somewhere outside Leeds this Monday. And Thursday Im going to Newcastle to visit my mate and gonna stay there for 2 nights. The plan in the week after is gonna be thrilling too!!! Im gonna watch the Final BWF Badminton tournament in London for the first time in my life. Seriously, I have been dreaming for this all my life. Such a badminton freak I am. Not that I can play badminton that good..hehe


And do you know that Leeds is getting quieter cuz many Bruneians have left especially the udnergrads? Well, that includes the brother, Azrin.. hmmmm :( He left with the family last 23rd July and had a flight return to Brunei on the 26th July..


And yesterday, my Korean friend Yunni (Eunhee Hwangbo) left for Korea. And the sad thing was i didnt get the chance to see and hug her for the last time. I was on my way to the train station when she had to board the train.... :'(

But life goes on good!:D
Thanks to GOD for everything..anyway, I've received every mark for my assignments now. The last two were released yesterday. Both a 68 which is more than I could ever ask for.. those were for the 6000 words essay for Developing Personal Practical Knowledge and 3000 words Grammar assignment. I've always thought that I wouldnt do as good in the Grammar assignment. The lecturer was a Professor for earth sake! How would we actually impress a PROFESSOR??? But he gave me a 68!!! All Glory to GOD!:D

That's for an update now. To tell y'all that Im still alive and breathing here..hahaha
