Marching to March.. :D

Right,
Oh, im listening to Aaron Carter, Im all about you at this very moment. Coincidentally, it is posted in facebook. So why not having a background while writing this post? :P Updating my blog has been quite a problem thesedays. Not that internet is down due to solar storm or whatever..LOL it's just that I've got so much to update, facebook, twitter, my diary, my educational journal.. see? haha

But i gotta carry on from where I left last time. Thanks to the Lord, I arrived in UK on October 6th and it was the same old London. I could say, it was good to be back and not for nothing but for something more than last time. What more special about that day was, I was there with MORE of my friends from UBD. We seemed inseparable!:) Officers from Brunei Hall met us there and had a coach to take us to Brunei Hall. Greeted by Nasi Lemak there for breakfast. There was something splendid about having nasi lemak in London..haha hence, we were almost crying and sobbing. Not that we were touched but the sambal was fiery!!! hahaha

We had a briefing right after and remember the officer told us.."Kamu mesti bersedia secara mental dan fisikal mulai dari masa ani.. Sebab belajar Masters atau degree di UK ani bukan sanang.. Mental dan fisikal mesti KUAT.." Perhaps, we didnt really take that in that time.. heh That afternoon, we had a trip around UK before nightfall to have the first taste of the busy city. I've always remember how London is..

The next day, October the 7th we split to groups.. Those leading to Leeds, Those going to Hull, those going to Bath and it felt like we were gonna part forever.. well, who knows how long till we met again. We set of as early as 7am by private van. In my group were defo me, Yanah, Qawiy and Khalid. Usually, it would take 5 - 6 hours from London to Leeds by coach. But this van is awesome!! after having a break for half an hour, i think we arrived in Leeds in less than 4 hours. On the way, I text bro Azrin cuz we might stay at his home till we get a home. And apparently he was somewhere in Leicester.. Eventually, we arrived in Blenheim View before azrin arrived so his friend greet us and helped us in. Thankful for their hospitality by helping us carry our giant luggages and bags.. :')


Our first day in Leeds uni was doing as what the Leeds uni representative said in the email to HRD. Registered for the programme then registered to student service with the help of azrin off course. Made our student card! (yayyy..)Looked for our timetable online and went to enter OUR first class since it has started for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, after waiting for more than half an hour nobody came or entered the class and that led us home.. Yanah kept in touch with the programme coordinator and in the end we were only able to enter our class the next week. Which means we missed 3 weeks of course.. hmmm


October 11th me, yanah, qawiy and Khalid moved to our real home, in 27a Leicester Grove. Quite a nice house and i won over the master bedroom. It has got white wall and clean and comfortable. A new beginning for a real life in Leeds. Funny story, when all the Blenheim guys helped us during the move. The door stop cooperating and all the 10 people there had an attempt to open the lock but to no avail it wudnt open. After about half an hour or so outside and squeezing at the doorway due to the cold weather finally it opened!hahaha Then I tried to switch off the burglar alarm cuz we put that on earlier instead it rang out loud that the blenheim guys scattered away entering a room..hahaha it just wudnt stop that we had to call a patron from our agent to try and turned it off. Instead he had to open the cover and pulled off all the fuses. Such a dramatic move but something to remember.. lol



But things were getting better and we tried to catch up with things. Especially for the Investigating Language class where you had to pick 4 out of 7 topics that have been taught in the course in the assignment, we had to attend extra classes to pay for the classes that we missed. And we entirely missed all the 3 Speaking sessions which is quite sad.. But we still pray for the best and may everything be made smooth for us eventhough it wasnt going to be easy. I definitely give all my Thanks to GOD for helping us throughout everything we encountered. Although we were late, things runs as friendly, smoothly and manageable for us. Except I had to really adapt to the more difficult learning environment where u need to hear 3 hrs of lecture and understand more complex things.

"Ku bersyukur pada mu TUHAN. atas Kasih MU.." feel like wanting to sing that worship..hehehe

And of course we made some friends!!:D who are amazing and you cant ask for better friends like them that we are pretty close right now.. Thanks for that as well dear GOD..

Before Christmas, we had to do our first batch of assignment. There were 2. I wasnt very aware about them until people were in a hassle. Apparently, the due date is coming soon and i havent started anything just yet.. LOL You cant really blame me since I was quite a newbie!:P I tried my very best to study on my own for the Investigating Language assignment as it was quite tough and i didnt really get the gist of it in the lecture. For the first time ever in my life, I put so much interest in academic books and journals and I thought I had really made an accomplishment cuz i kind of understood what I was reading..hahaha I had to cuz there was not turning back and I have promised myself that I would do what I can and wouldnt disappoint anybody. I sent in my draft to Alice for the Investigating Language and all through the time I had to wait was nerve-wrecking!!!:p At last, the feedback was here and I was grateful that it was OK with a capital O and K.. :D Alice said that the draft itself is at PASS level and IF I had the time I could improve that easily so there would be a great difference in my mark. First thing i did, LIFT UP MY HANDS TO THE SKY AND SAIS, "THANK YOU JESUS.." HE is really with me all those times. And I believe that when HE is with me, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.. Before, I thought just by passing the assignment is enough cuz guys, Im talking about MASTERS level here.

Not just that, I had another assignment and i picked something on listening. It also received a positive feedback. "You write well and has dome some useful reading.." and it just boost your confidence. 4 days before Christmas I managed to finally printed 2 copies of each of the 3000 words assignment and handed them in on the 23rd.. phewww~ Now, I had the time enjoy my times before Christmas!! :D
